Mack aka “Tristan Wilds is a Long Island native, actor turned rapper. Although he is new to the music scene he isn’t new to fame. He came on to the Hollywood scene as a child actor in the hit HBO series “The Wire” . He then moved on to the CW series ” 902010″ where he is currently playing a role as “Dixon Wilson”, a college aged kid trying to figure out life.
In 2013 Mack released his debut album ” A New York Love Story”, Which he says takes inspiration from old school NY style rap. His style is a Rap with a little R&B flare to it.
Will he Make it?
It think Mack brings a different sound to the music industry. There is no one out there right now with his sound. Yes, there is Drake who does the whole rap/sing thing and he too came from TV but Mack isn’t just a rapper or singer, he’s bringing back a sound that we haven’t heard in a while. Not to mention he already has a large following of faithful fans from his acting career who will buy his album.
